We fished all day on Tuesday.  I was solid the whole time.  we boated over 40 fish and ended up with 16 keeper trout.  We also caught about 6 fresh water Drum.  They fight good but they are not for the eating so we send them all back.  We are still getting fish in pretty shallow water, spoons have been good in morning and evening and flasher have been good with the high sun.  We will be back out fishing again soon and will keep you posted on the outcome.  Call captain Ben @ daydreamer charters to get in on some of this great fishing.  231-218-5176

WE CAUGHT A BROWN!!!  For many of you know we don't get Brown Trout very often anymore.  This morning we caught a nice little 3 pounder.  We also lugged in about 20 or so Lake Trout.  The group of three kept just enough for dinner, and gladly released the rest we boated.  The fish are starting to head back to deep water.  We have now seen surface temps up to 70 degrees.  Have a good one until next time!

Well, we ended up on a last minute trip Sunday night, it was our best trip of the season.  We did loose track of how many we caught around the 32 mark, so we figured we finished by boating somewhere in the low 40's.  It was one fish after another for 4 hours of now stop action.  We never did land any hogs, however several fish were in the slot and lots of fillets went home with Scott.  Give Daydreamer a call to get in on some of this hot action.

We went out Friday morning and the trout are still on the bank.  This was good to see as the action stayed hot.  We landed 28 trout, along with a few of them being in the 8-12 pound range.  Also, we went fishing on Saturday morning.  We left the dock at 5 am and returned with a limit catch at 7:15am.  We boated 15 altogether, and that left us with 9 keepers.  We did release a nice fish that was close to 12 pounds, he put up a great fight.  All in all, the fishing is strong and we are having a great spring run.  We will be back out again on Tuesday, see you then.

Fishing on Sunday was steady.  We did a 3 hour trip in the morning and a 4 hour trip in the evening.  Both trips produced around 15 trout.  On this day the size ran a bit small, but we kept putting fish in the boat all day.  The water is starting to warm up, this means the fish will be moving off the bank in the next week or two.  Give us a call to get a great catch of trout this week.

Saturday morning was what we call CRAZY!!!!  We fished from 6-10am, and they never stopped biting.  The group of 4 landed 25 Lake Trout, and 1 White Fish.  The fish gave us about 40-45 bites in all.  We did catch a 11+ pound Laker that we gladly released to be caught another day.
